Oriental String Work

Since I don’t have much time to bake nowadays, decided to go for lessons instead. Learned how to pipe oriental string work from a fellow cake decorator.

Did this in class. But couldn’t complete and was hoping to finish off everything the following day.

These are the peacock parts still not completely dried.


The next morning all the string work broke :(. So sad. Which means I would need more time to redo the entire cake. Could only do so 2 weeks after that as I had to go for a company outing.

Completed the final piece but used all white instead of blue.

Can still do a better job. Next time.
