Yatee is my biggest fan when it comes to red velvet cupcakes:) Made a few batches of these red velvet cupcakes for her makan sessions with her friends and relatives. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures of those cupcakes. The picture below is the red velvet cupcakes I made for her mum’s 65th birthday.
These red velvet cupcakes have a light chocolatey taste to it. And they are not as red as those made by some local bakeries as I used only a little bit of red food colouring. I personally like its velvety texture due to the addition of buttermilk and vinegar in the recipe. Topped with just vanilla butter cream icing, these red velvet cupcakes are just heavenly to be eaten as it is. And Yatee says they taste better than those from a famous bakery here 🙂 Thank you for the continuous support Yatee!
